Close
  • 1983
Humble Beginnings–Steven Laing starts Tara Enterprise, by transporting cash for one company. Deliveries are done with one vehicle and based out of home located in Kingston.
  • 1984
Growth – TARA expands to fifteen (15) clients, three (3) cars and added employees. The name started getting around that Tara was providing a reliable and trustworthy service.
  • Late 1980’s – Due to growth TARA moves to a more spacious office location at Phoenix Avenue in Kingston.
  • 1989
The first request for a non-cash parcel delivery service. This causes a chain reaction and other clients enquired about the new service.
  • 1994
The volume of work increases significantly as the client base expands and the timely coverage of delivery areas cannot be accomplished only by road! TARA starts renting aircraft out of Tinson Pen Aerodrome and commences cargo transport via Air. This same year TARA decides to move from Phoenix Ave, Kingston to Maxfield Ave.

  • 2000
TARA purchases its first twin engine aircraft. This allows for faster deliveries, overnight delivery and the ability to fly through adverse weather conditions.
